Playdough Ideas

We all know that playdough is wonderful and it is used in almost every kindergarten I have been relieving at recently. It is great to be used alone, however there are so many things you can add to the playdough to make this activity more interesting. 

• Shells
• Leaves, twigs and gumnuts
• Pebbles/Rocks
• Glitter
• Glitter stars/sequins
• Cookie cutters
• Buttons or beads
• Plastic toys e.g. animals
• Feathers
• Popsticks/Matchsticks

There are also a variety of playdough mats that can be downloaded and printed. It's easy as googling 'playdough mats' but these are a few of my faves. I found these at www.playdoughtoplato.com/ and www.prekinders.com/
